| Morpeth Harrier Nick Swinburn produced a superb performance at muddy Heaton Park, Manchester to earn an individual Silver Medal for himself at the North of England Cross Country Championships on Saturday 27th January, and had the added delight of leading his fellow clubmates to team Bronze medals.
Those medals came in the very last event of the day in the Under 20 Mens 8k, and prior to that the Northumbrian club had every reason to believe that they were going to return to their base with nothing to show for their hard working efforts.
