| Athletes from Morpeth Harriers were
amongst the numerous sportspersons to receive awards at the Annual Castle Morpeth Sports Council Sports Awards Night held at Morpeth Leisure Centre on Friday 2nd March. Guest of Honour presenting the awards was Jim Alder MBE,who had only just returned from London after receiving his award from Her Majesty The Queen. This was all carried out in the company of the Mayor of Castle Morpeth Cllr Geoff Proudlock who said he was indeed proud to be in the company of Jim Alder and was equally proud to have known the Morpeth Harriers Marathon Legend for as many years.
